For over 65 years, Appalachian Regional Healthcare has stood as a bedrock for the health and well-being of the people and communities we serve. Today, our executive and physician leaders within our hospitals, community practices and medical groups proudly carry forward that legacy of care through our expansive network of services.
Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) is stalwartly supported in its efforts by physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health specialists, and other direct care providers who practice in both employed and independent practices throughout the region.
The ARH employed provider network, now known as the ARH Care Network, has experienced a rapidly growing presence throughout the geographic reach of the health system and now consists of more than 200 physicians and 130 advanced practice providers across 27 specialties and more than 90 practice locations. Guided by a shared vision of its ideal future state, the group is ensuring coordinated care across the network and direct collaboration with independent practices to enhance the patient care experience. ARH Care Network providers can become directly involved in the problem-solving and decision-making processes through a representative Provider Leadership Council and standing Committees dedicated to providing input in areas such as clinical informatics, quality, and operations and finance.
Our leadership structure brings together the collective intellect of our executives, physician leaders, and medical directors to ensure every step we take forward happens in unison, as one system, and consistent with our strategic plan. With strong physician leadership from across the Appalachian Regional Healthcare system and the ARH Care Network, we form a cohesive, though multifaceted, approach to multi-specialty care that functions seamlessly across all the communities we serve.
Working together with a shared vision and purpose, our dedicated leadership teams are committed to the growth, continued development and success of our health system, our patients and our clinicians.
